If you love children and have child care experience, a nanny position may be the perfect job for you. As a nanny, you will be required to do the following:
Be a role model for children: use of correct language, appropriate manners, etiquette and dress. Become part of a family team providing firm, positive and consistent discipline. Care for child's clothing (laundry, selection) Plan and cook nutritionally sound meals Pick up after child and teach the child to pick up after him/herself Provide transportation to appointments, classes, etc. Provide a safe physical environment Travel with family when needed. Understand the stages of infant, toddler, and child development. Be flexible, patient, and understanding. |
